In April Dr Ali was back in Sagoor village with 23 patients. A deep-tubewell struck an underground stream at 127 feet which produced the most incredible mineral water. Dr Ali with the help of the group built a water tank at a height of 40 feet above the ground so that every home in Sagoor village will now have superior quality portable water.
Waterborne diseases were a problem in the area as people collected water from the common river. Now, we hope their health will improve with the additional minerals the women and children will be having.
This time 6 M.E. patients joined Dr Ali’s Himalayan programme. They did regular yoga, walked in the mountains for 3-4 hours every day and had therapeutic massage. The highlight of the trip was when all the M.E. sufferers did a 3 hour walk to a peak at 10,500 ft starting at 6.30am from the Dalai Lamas village. At the top they enjoyed the stunning view of the high peaks and declared that they do not have M.E anymore. Some were in tears as it had been a long wait for that day.

ran for 5 years and attracted over 3 million readers. He has appeared on Richard & Judy and The Heaven & Earth Show and led health discussions on Radio 4, Talk Sport and LBC.
